You thought I'd gone missing, didn't you?

Sorry about the long period of inactivity! In the last four months we've:

• visited Hong Kong for a week with family & walked & shopped & ate & drank like demons!
• booked our next trip O/S!!

So let's talk about that... the next big trip that is...

Jamie & I (& Foxy) leave Australia on Saturday, Sept 11 for Cairo, Egypt. We will be travelling for 12 days with Jamie's mum, Penny & his sis, Samantha throughout Egypt. The Travelling Foxes (TFs) are doing the following trip with Intrepid Travel:

We kick off in Cairo, then travel to Alexandria on the Mediterranean coast, returning to Cairo the following day. From Cairo, we travel by overnight train to Aswan, where we will hop aboard a felucca to experience the Nile close up!

A short flight takes us to Abu Simbel to view the imposing palace of Ramses II. Sailing by small cruise ship up the Nile for several days we reach Luxor & the Valley of the Kings (& Queens!), and hopefully take a morning balloon flight over the ancient city of Thebes... We return to Cairo where we say goodbye to our new found friends & Penny & Sam :(

But wait! There's more. We don't return to Australia just yet... next visit (& post) we land in Morocco... STAY TUNED (& I promise it won't be 4 months til the next post!)
